Who needs training?

Regulation 1101: First Aid Requirements states that employers must have at least one employee trained in first aid for every workplace employing fewer than 5 workers, at least one for every shift at a workplace employing 5 to 14 workers, and at least two for every shift at a workplace employing 15 to 199 workers. However, these are minimum requirements - we can help you determine if there are enough trained providers to meet the needs of your workplace effectively.

Standard First Aid/CPR Training
This comprehensive two-day course provides training in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills. It is for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Our course includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines and meets federal and a variety of provincial/territorial regulations for Standard First Aid and CPR. Exceeds competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content.
WORPLACE REQUIREMENTS
This course is required for Ontario workplaces of 6 or more employees per work/site.

Emergency First Aid
This basic one-day course offers an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Our training includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines and it meets OHS regulations for Basic First Aid requirements in the workplace. This Emergency First Aid course exceeds competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content.
WORPLACE REQUIREMENTS
For workplaces with 6 or more people working on any shift, at least 1 must have a Standard First Aid certificate. Prior to either of these tests, the tester trains the participant on selection, use and care of respirators.
